What makes our program different?

In Kreyol, Elèv means education, a key component of fighting poverty. In Haiti, as in most parts of the developing world, if a student cannot pay for school, they cannot attend and complete this critical first step in life.
Our Elèv Education program invests in the future by providing vulnerable students financial scholarships, personalized tutoring, and mentorship.

We fund full scholarships, which covers the cost of books, uniforms, and tuition. Our bi-weekly tutoring program ensures the academic excellence and success of our students.
Upon graduation, our Elèv students are able to then transition into our Lavi program for job training, which prepares them for the formal workforce.  Each Elèv graduate is guaranteed a job at deux mains, as well as access to university scholarships.

POVERTY IS COMPLEX, MAKING A DIFFERENCE ISN’T

We Offer Scholarships

Many students cannot attend school in Haiti because they cannot afford the tuition, and required books or uniforms. We fund full scholarships, which covers the cost of books, uniforms, and tuition. Successful graduates of our Elèv program also have access to university scholarships!

We Offer Tutoring

In order to support the success of our students, we offer bi-weekly tutoring. Students are able to supplement their education, with tutoring French, the language in which the national exams are conducted, math, and all other subjects!

We Offer Job Training

Upon graduation, our Elèv students are able to then transition into our Lavi program for job training, which prepares them for the formal workforce.  Each Elèv graduate is then guaranteed a job at deux mainsour for-profit partner company.

We alleviate barriers by making education accessible and affordable for students in Haiti.
